History of  Bowen

Bowen therapy is the creation of a humble and gifted individual named Tom Bowen of Geelong, Australia.   Mr. Bowen began to develop his technique in the 1950's.  He was keenly interested in alleviating various physical discomforts that the human body experiences.   He had a very busy clinic, performing roughly 13,000 treatments annually.   

The Bowen Technique, now known as Bowtech, was first presented to the public in 1986 in Perth, Australia,  Since then it has spread to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and many countries in Europe, ​
